Le
Moulin Rault
is located in St. Glen, a traditional Breton farming hamlet.
You arrive on the ancient wooded grounds over a gated bridge and enter
a different world - historic ambience combined with all modern conveniences.
Ocean beaches, horseback riding, hiking, boating, swimming, water skiing,
sailing, and fishing are all available nearby. You are conveniently
located for day trips to medieval towns, picturesque forts, castle ruins,
the world famous Mont St. Michel, historic churches, and wonderful
French/Breton cuisine.
Le
Moulin Rault is the ideal
vacation spot for those who enjoy the tranquility of the countryside
but also relish discovering secluded beaches, inlets, rivers, forests,
moorlands and lakes all of which abound in this most attractive and
least commercialized area of Brittany. Despite its rustic siting, the
mill is only half an hour's drive from the humming centers of St.
Brieuc and St. Malo and closer yet to Lamballe, a
market town with all conveniences and home to the Haras National
(equine stud and dressage center).
Le
Moulin Rault is about 2 hours
by train (TGV) from Paris. The spacious stone building has 4
Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, a Living Room with 20ft ceilings and fireplace,
dining room, kitchen with dishwasher/washing machine, and skylights
in every room. Our English speaking caretaker lives nearby.
